It is pure arithmetic and follows from the margin Google Shopping retains from your bid.
- Standard setup: On Shopping ads, Google usually keeps a margin of approx. 20 %. If you bid €1.00, only €0.80 effectively reaches the auction.
- VISYBL setup: With VISYBL as an independent CSS, this margin is not deducted. Your full €1.00 goes into the auction.
The maths: To get from the reduced €0.80 back to the full €1.00, you need exactly 25 % more (€0.80 x 1.25 = €1.00).
